The original Olde Swords Reign book.
History
OSwR has had three versions:
- Scott Myers’ Original — Scott designed the first Olde Swords Reign and released it publicly. It’s no longer available, but it’s where everything started.
- First Edition — I took Scott’s design, expanded it, and released it as a full book. This is what’s available below.
- Second Edition — The current version on this site. A complete rewrite incorporating lessons learned from years of play.

What’s Different in Second Edition?
The Second Edition builds on the original with refined mechanics:

The original was designed for VTT 5e compatibility. Second Edition optimises for physical table play with dice you can see and trade.
